Maintenance Free Narrow Boats
We build beautiful minimal narrow boats from an amazing corrosion and maintenance-free, super-strong, UV-stable and marine growth resistant material called High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). It's being used to build military boats, fishing boats and even yachts. These are industries that require their boats to withstand the harshest environments, which make our narrow boats virtually indestructible. Our boats have built in redundancy like a lifeboat so in the unlikely event the outer skin gets punctured, she'll still float thanks to her 32 concrete and steel reinforced water tight chambers.

Bye Bye Rust
Buying a new steel narrow boat comes with the worry that at some point the rust will win. This sparked off our quest to eradicate this uncertain aspect of buying narrow boats. We think buying a narrow boat shouldn't be an investment that may eventually be too expensive to maintain. We've heard so many other rust horror stories having worked in the industry since 2016. We've seen steel boats with bad pitting after just 7 years. HDPE does not corrode, so no more expensive blacking, welding and the dreaded overplating. We encourage you to do the maths on how much maintenance costs over the lifetime of a steel boat. We calculated it could be as much as the initial cost to buy the boat!


What is HDPE?
HDPE is an incredibly strong Polyethelene. It was originally engineered for underground pipes due to it's strength under compression and it's non-corrosive properties. Then boat builders discovered it's the ideal material for marine industries that require their boats to wisthstand the harshest environments.

HDPE is extraordinarily strong. Where most materials crack or dent on impact, HDPE simply absorbs the shock due to it being semi flexible. You could strike it over and over with a slede hammer and everytime it will bounce off, unlike steel which will dent or crack making it more suceptible to corrosion.
